This lake is located between two other lake, it is Tamblingan lake and Buyan lake. This lake can be considered special lake. Because there is a cluster of twin lakes inside a huge caldera.
In the middle of the lake there is a pura ulun danu for worship to the Gods. worship is addressed to the goddess Danu as a giver of fertility goddess.
